Application Information

Thank you for your interest in applying to the Texas Devo Cycling Team. Before you apply, please read through the following information regarding team membership. With any team membership comes expectations and guidelines, and this team is no different. Each member of this team will act as an ambassador for the Texas cycling community. Race results are important, but so is a positive competitive spirit and a friendly attitude. As you read through the information and questions come up, please reach out and we will try to help. Selected athletes will be placed on the Elite & U23 Team (National Team) or the Development Team (Regional Team) based on experience and performance.

Texas Devo Cycling Team is 100% volunteer run and operated. It has been since day one. All of the fees collected go to the team and athletes to help cover team expenses. Don't let the program cost be a barrier, we do offer some performance and financial based scholarships to select athletes. Fill out the application first. If you need more information on the scholarships contact us after your application is submitted.

The following fees will apply to athletes placed on the Development Team:

Fees are waived for athletes placed on the Elite & U23 Team.

DEVELOPMENT TEAM FEES (does not Apply to athletes placed on the ELITE & U23 TEAM)

2025 Season runs from December 15th, 2024 through October 31st, 2025

Elite & U23 Team Program Cost $0 (if selected for this team)

Development Team Program Cost $2000 w/following payment options:

Four Payments of $500 (approx. every 3 months):

• December 15, 2024
• March 15, 2025
• June 15, 2025
• September 15, 2025

Eight Payments of $250 (approx. every 6 weeks):

• December 15, 2024
• January 19, 2025
• March 2, 2025
• April 13, 2025
• May 25, 2025
• July 6, 2025
• August 17, 2025
• September 28, 2025

We are trying to assemble a top-level team and as such our expectations are high. Here is a list of things we will expect from each rider on the team.

• Compete in events based on goals you set with the team that are centered around the team's race calendar
• Compete in the USA Cycling Mountain Bike XC Nationals
• Attend the team's training camps
• Participate in other team scheduled events, such as community skills clinics or trail workdays
• Train consistently, work hard and be friend to everyone.

Below is the rider code of conduct. Each rider and a parent or guardian will be required to sign this agreement.
