Our Purpose

We are the premier Texas junior and U23 off‑road cycling development team — run by Texans and sponsored by Texans. With the goal of growing junior and U23 competitive cycling across the state, the Texas Devo Cycling Team is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization that promotes youth development and provides assistance and support to amateur cyclists who show potential at both the national and world levels of competition.

Through this team, athletes receive coaching, mentorship, and logistical support for traveling to and attending local and national events. Texas Devo also uses educational resources to sponsor and promote the sport of cycling and perform community service projects that strengthen the cycling community statewide.

In 2026, Texas Devo expanded its athlete development pathway with the launch of the Foundations Team, designed for riders under age 15. Foundations introduces younger athletes to the competitive side of cycling through skills development, race awareness, and mentorship — all in a safe, age‑appropriate environment that avoids early specialization or high training volume. Foundations athletes also benefit from SafeSport‑certified coaches, monthly team calls, and full team support at select national‑level events.

Together, these programs build a clear pathway for Texas athletes to grow, compete, and thrive, fostering healthy, positive competition and a lifelong love of cycling.
